Title: Ultrasound Technician - General
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Extendable)
Shift Timings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (5 days/week)
Pay: $60 - $62/hour
Skills Required:Experience with ultrasound equipment such as Philips and Siemens .
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound machines .
Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
High attention to detail with the ability to work independently .
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
Perform various ultrasound procedures , including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and musculoskeletal scans .
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, and blood vessels.
Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing concerns .
Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images , adjusting as needed.
Observe and assess patient reactions during procedures, identifying any discomfort or distress.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Ensure images meet diagnostic requirements and capture necessary views for physician analysis.
Document patient information , procedures performed, and observations in the patient’s medical record .
Prepare reports for physicians , including images and notes on findings .
