Senior Project Accountant

KEITH is looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join our team in our Corporate Office in Pompano Beach, FL.  We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture.  We are a well-established multidisciplinary company that offers civil engineering, land surveying, subsurface utility engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and construction management services.  The firm was founded on the principle of achieving success by combining the latest technology with client oriented business practices, and a strong group of talented professionals.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of project accounting, ensuring accurate cost monitoring and performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to review costs, provide financial insights, and finalize invoices.
• Prepare and submit complex project invoices on a monthly basis, including FDOT and other agency-specific billing.
• Act as the primary liaison for client Accounts Receivable follow-up and resolution.
• Lead the preparation of FDOT Audit Packages and other compliance reporting as needed.
• Manage the setup and maintenance of project records in Deltek Vantagepoint and KEITH Network, ensuring data integrity.
• Provide advanced support to Project Managers with proposal and contract preparation, QA/QC, and monitor subconsultant agreements.
• Mentor junior project accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices and process improvements.

What you'll need:

• Extensive experience with project accounting software; Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint expertise is strongly preferred.
• Significant experience in the A/E/C industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), with a deep understanding of FDOT and other agency-specific billing processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex project financials and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and lead others in a dynamic environment.
