Position Overview

We’re seeking a creative and technically-minded Architectural Lighting Designer to join our growing team. You’ll support a range of projects from concept to completion, working closely with our design team to bring innovative lighting solutions to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm on the ground floor, with ample room for growth and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of lighting design concepts for architectural projects.
  • Produce lighting layouts and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and reports.
  • Perform lighting calculations and photometric analysis.
  • Support the team in project documentation and coordination with architects and engineers.
  • Participate in internal design discussions and client meetings as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining organized project files and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Interest in learning and growing within the field of architectural lighting.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with AGI32 or other lighting calculation software.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Experience with Bluebeam for document review and markup.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a mix of technical and creative lighting work.
