Junior Data Scientist Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making processes by cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets. You will develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and help present data insights effectively to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and manipulating large datasets
• Develop predictive models using various statistical techniques
• machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems
• Work collaboratively with teams to understand business needs and identify new data analytics opportunities
• Use data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to present insights
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to both the team and management
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data mining
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python and R
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent skills in communication and organization
