Social Media + Influencer Manager

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Manager of Social Media at Dickies looks a little like this.

For over four decades, Dickies has been a staple in the skateboarding community. From the 1980s to today, skaters have embraced Dickies for their durability, comfort, and timeless style. This organic relationship has seen Dickies become synonymous with skate culture, reflecting the brand's commitment to quality and the skaters' need for reliable gear. As skateboarding continues to evolve, Dickies remains a trusted and iconic choice for skaters around the world. This position reports to the Director of Brand Management.

Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Social Media Management: Oversee daily management of Dickies Skateboarding social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.

• Content Development and Management: Create video content for social media following the creative direction and timelines set by Dickies. Ensure all posts on Dickies Skateboarding social media pages are appropriate and in good taste. Manage the conversation with follower engagement.

• Product Seeding: Manage product seeding to amateur and pro athletes, celebrities, and influencers to drive brand awareness, conversation, and loyalty.

• Meetings and Communication: Be an active participant in meetings for content planning and brand strategy.

• Performance Reporting: Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on social media performance, initiatives, and activations.

• Event Travel: Travel with skate team members to key events and competitions to promote, capture content, and ensure proper representation in media.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you'll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Proven experience in social media management, particularly within the skateboarding or action sports industry.

• Strong content creation skills, especially with video production using an iPhone.

• Excellent and thoughtful communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

• Experience in engaging with followers and customers on social media.

$83,200.00 USD - $104,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
