Do you love working with kids? Come join School District 197 School Age Care team working with children in grades K-8. We are looking for individuals with a passion for childcare and enjoy working with kids to assist the site supervisor(s) in providing quality and age appropriate school age care.

• Assist in the implementation and preparation of curriculum and enrichment activities for students.
• Assist in guiding children’s behavior using a positive and consistent style.
• Ability to implement emergency procedures.
• Participate with children in activities

Pay & Schedule:

• Position will start on August 26, 2023. Applicants must be able to work 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Aug. 26 -Aug. 30, 2024 for staff development and site set up. September 3rd is the first day that will be onsite with SAC participants.
• Competitive pay, starting at $16.89/hr + $2.00/hr stipend (some conditions may apply)
• Part time opportunities available - up to 20 hrs/week
• Various shifts available in the afternoon: 2 pm - 6 pm Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Good communication skills, high degree of flexibility
• Experience working with children
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
