Senior Data Analyst

Under the direction of the Data Analysis Manager, you will:

  • Actively respond to inquiries and requests from our data customers, and timely and accurately deliver data analysis in support of their decision making.
  • Independently conduct extensive research and analysis on claims and legal operational data, and effectively communicate findings, and provide valuable insights to stakeholders with various degrees of technical expertise.
  • Design impactful MicroStrategy dashboards using advanced MicroStrategy objects.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions using MicroStrategy tools and functionalities.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for business system enhancements, process optimizations, and integration of new data elements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, investigate, and rectify any business systems and data deficiencies and/or inaccuracies.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on projects from other departments, provide expertise on data related issues, and identify potential needs and uses of new data.
  • Lead and/or contribute to Business Intelligence/DAU projects, including defining project objectives and scopes, developing business and technical requirements, and conducting user-acceptance testing and business data validation.


Position may be filled in:   Humboldt, Solano, Riverside, Los Angeles, Shasta, Alameda, Sonoma, San Joaquin, Fresno, Kern, Orange, Sacramento, Ventura, San Diego, and San Luis Obispo county.

New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.
