**Soldering Technician** **Multiple Locations** : + Oxnard + Thousand Oaks + Moorpark **Job Type** : Contract to hire **Pay** : $25 - $35 **About the Role:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Soldering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) + Inspect and test soldered connections for quality and reliability + Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions + Operate soldering equipment and tools safely and effectively + Rework and repair defective assemblies as needed + Maintain a clean and organized work area + Follow all safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus + 2+ years of soldering experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment + Proficiency in soldering to IPC standards (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 preferred) + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity + Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods + Excellent communication and teamwork skills **Preferred Skills:** + IPC Certification (or willingness to obtain) + Experience with SMT rework and BGA soldering + Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation **Expect a call from** **Tanner** **with** **Aerotek** **. He will be responsible for hiring for this position.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
