Job Descriptions: 1. Provide fundamental equity research coverage of Asia-Pacific (APAC) equity markets; Create/manage business valuation models constructed from cash flow projections, based on specific revenue drivers & profitability estimates; 2. Publish research reports on companies of interest, establish/maintain targeted coverage universe & build knowledge within industry through conferences/analyst days/financial reports/site visits/management meetings; 3. Collaborate with the U.S. Research team & discuss companies' performances after earnings, news releases, or relevant articles are released with global portfolio management; 4. Explore actionable investment ideas to be potential investments; Identify new trends in the Asian market & determine the impact on global markets & expand generalist research coverage across APAC regions; 5. Represent the research team during client meetings/visits & communicate GAMCOs investment approach to existing & prospective clients. Required Qualifications: * Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Investing/Investment Management. * Minimum of 5 years APAC financial markets investment research experience. * In-depth knowledge of global equities, international business cultures, financial operations, and Asian financial markets. * Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis of international companies, including market sizing, competitive positioning, management quality assessment, and financial modeling. * Exceptional written/verbal communication skills. * Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg/S&P Capital IQ/ Wind-Financial/MS Office Suite. * Occasional domestic and international business travel required.
