Preschool Records Clerk Location Wichita, KS (Crown Heights area) :

```Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Records Clerk to join our team. The position must be familiar with or be willing to learn of the KDHE Laws and Regulations for a licensed daycare program. The Records Clerk maintains all preschool families' financial accounts and prepares payroll spreadsheets for all staff semi-monthly payroll periods, forwarding the information to the bookkeeper for final completion of payroll activity. The position prepares and completes all financial paperwork and documentation needed for end of month closing procedures. The Records Clerk must possess excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and anyone conducting business with the program.

Duties:

• Ensures all necessary paperwork for KDHE compliance is current and posted to Family accounts and maintains updated records on all children through ProCare (JLL software)
• Maintains all Jacob's Learning Ladder Family Financial accounts. Post all tuition charges, and all receivables, incoming tuition payments. Available to communicate with parents or responsible parties of JLL families through email, phone or in person about their account activity.
• Working with ProCare preschool software, prepares payroll spreadsheet for all JLL staff twice a month payroll periods and forwards it to Grace bookkeeper for completion of payroll through paychecks or direct deposit.
• Prepares and completes any necessary paperwork, e.g. monthly lunch counts, monthly requisitions, etc. and forwards documentation to Grace bookkeeper for end of the month closing procedures.

Experience:

• Well-versed with KDHE Laws and Regulations for a licensed daycare program.
• Proven organizational, time management and communication skills with adults.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Must be or become proficient in ProCare Software
• Experience with financial management and analysis
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
