Program:  Clinical

Location:  Arlington Heights, IL

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $66,500-68,500/year - depending on experience

Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that specializes in providing innovative services and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

Provide high quality physical therapy services and supports to clients and programs under the supervision of the Physical Therapist

Essential Functions:

• Work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to implement appropriate physical therapy services for clients.
• Promote the upgrading, maintenance, and/or palliative treatment of gross motor abilities of clients through an interdisciplinary approach.
• Maintain documentation as required for each client receiving physical therapy.
• Support the use of mobility aids as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide training to staff on topics within the scope of Physical Therapy as needed.
• Collaborate regarding client needs and coordinate therapeutic programs with other staff working with clients.
• It is the responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant to maintain confidentiality with all clients and their families and maintain a professional image as a representative of the agency.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures established for Clearbrook, the Clinical Services Department, and all governing bodies.
• Complete mandatory training as required.
• Accept additional duties as needed and directed by the Physical Therapist and/or Director of Therapy Services.

Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree in related field required
• Current Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of related experience
• Able to assist in lifting and positioning of clients
