Job Description

Salary Range: $15.50 – $17.00

The Park Maintenance Worker – Seasonal is responsible for general landscape, park, and horticultural maintenance of the park(s) within their assigned district and/or other districts as needed. This position is part of the operations department and reports directly to the district foreperson.

This is a full-time seasonal position; working 37.5 hours per week with non-exempt status according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. Overtime hours may be required at certain times, with supervisor’s approval.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Debris and trash removal daily;
-Mowing and weed whacking;
-Raking, shoveling, and sweeping;
-Planting, weeding, and mulching;
-Performs daily maintenance of tools and equipment utilized;
-Special event set-up and clean-up
