Job Description

National Business Development Manager Location Temple, TX : The National Business Development Manager is responsible for the promotion and sale of all CORD Financial products and services for National Accounts. This position is responsible for the entire sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution on new business development.   • Acts as subject matter expert on CORD Financial products and services, specifically Placement, Processing, and Cash Management.
  • Interacts with prospects to understand their current and future ATM strategy, business requirements, contract dates, and key personnel within prospective customer opportunities who make decisions for CORD's presented solutions.
  • Populates and analyzes standard (ROI/Profitability) models based on customer needs.
  • Remains current with competitors in the industry.
  • Tracks and reports sales activity in Salesforce.
  • Performs lead generation activities including in-person, telephone, e-mail, and social media cold calls.
  • Acts as champion of innovative thinking by presenting solutions to CORD management on segments of business within or outside the ATM industry, that can be scaled to add revenue to CORD's bottom line.
  • Ensures quarterly sales revenue and profit sales goals are met.
  • Researches, identifies and/or qualifies targeted national account prospects.
  • Builds relationship with the appropriate management levels and decision makers within the potential client organization to propose and secure new national account agreements.
  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations that address the prospective client's needs and leads to the establishment of new national account agreements/contracts.
  • Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information of targeted national accounts and competitive information associated with these accounts for use in potential proposals/agreements.
  • Establishes and cultivates relationships with potential national accounts.
  • Responds to prospective customer Requests for Information and Proposal (RFI/P) and negotiates pricing and other terms of new national account agreements with prospective clients to ensure maximum revenue and profit from new agreements to include terms and conditions that will minimize the company's risk.
  • Creates detailed sales plan each quarter and provides weekly updates of sales plan to supervisor.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications - MBA preferred. 9+ years' experience in business development; possess an in-depth understanding of ATM industry and/or financial industry; must have strong communication skills including sales presentation skills; possess the ability to support multiple sales initiatives concurrently; intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and Salesforce; must be able to find, identify, cultivate, and close leads/opportunities; must be comfortable interacting with all levels in an organization; and must be able to travel up to 45%.
