Overview:

The Alta Vista Technology team is looking for an exceptional Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant to join our fast-growing company. The Microsoft Dynamics GP consultant would be responsible for customer support, process improvements, integrations, writing SQL Reporting Services reports, and performing technical documentation. This consultant would work closely with the team and practice manager to ensure adherence to budgets and good customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical application support
• Assist clients in upgrading to newer versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Plan and execute data migrations when necessary.
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics GP updates, patches, and best practices.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimization.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Develop and implement customizations and enhancements to Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Write and modify SQL queries and scripts as needed.

​ Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) required
• Knowledge of Financials and Distribution are a must. Preference given to experience with Manufacturing and Human Resources.
• Experience with FRx and Management Reporter
• Must have experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Should be innovative in delivering client advice and solutions and have the ability to grow client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Enthusiastic about serving customers and learning new skills and technologies
• Accurately and timely meeting project objectives.
• Ability to implement and document according to Alta Vista Technology Sure Step Methodology in order to deliver the highest quality of professional services.
