Medical Receptionist
Location Dallas, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Temp-to-Hire

ROLE IMPACT
Join a busy healthcare front office team supporting patient care operations. This role ensures a welcoming patient experience while coordinating scheduling, insurance verifications, and payments across two clinic sites. Success is measured by efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in high-touch, fast-paced settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage front desk reception, including answering phones and greeting patients
• Check patients in and out with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance
• Collect, post, and reconcile copays and patient balances
• Verify insurance coverage and process patient information accurately
• Deliver excellent in-person and phone-based customer service
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years experience in a medical front office setting
• Knowledge of insurance verification and basic billing practices
• Ability to work at Frisco location on Tuesday mornings
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• EMR/EHR platforms
• Insurance verification tools
• Multi-line phone systems
• Copay collection systems (POS or digital)
• MS Office or equivalent for basic documentation
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with front desk operations in a specialty clinic setting
• Familiarity with Presbyterian/Dallas area healthcare systems
• Comfort working across dual locations and variable schedules
