LocumJobsOnline is working with Cynet Locums to find a qualified Radiology MD in Asheboro, North Carolina, 27203!About The PositionJob Title: Radiologist Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiology Duration: Ongoing Shift: Night 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: State license required Certifications: Board certification required Must-Have: Licensed in NC Description: Specialty: Radiology-Gen Dx and Mammo. Start date is as soon as possible. Shift details are onsite, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with ongoing availability. Candidates may be considered for remote work if already licensed in NC and willing to take weekend shifts and overnight shifts during the week. Responsibilities include supervising and assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Fluoroscopy procedures will be 3-4 per day. General radiology duties involve conducting and interpreting routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. Light interventional procedures are not a 100% IR position and do not require IR call. Non-complex procedures performed may include image-guided biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, averaging 5-6 per day. The position also includes breast imaging responsibilities. Imaging procedures consist of 3D mammography, digital mammography, and breast ultrasounds. Diagnostic procedures entail conducting stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies. Candidates with schedule flexibility are preferred for Monday through Friday. Candidates available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will also be considered. The patient population is primarily adults and geriatrics. Electronic medical record system used is Meditech. PACS system utilized is Change Healthcare. Dictation software is PowerScribe One. Worklist manager is RamSoft. Credentialing timeframe is 4-6 weeks.
