Global Fortune 500 company in the Tampa area is looking to add a Sr. International Tax individual to the Tax group.
International Tax Sr
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance
1. Review Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865 (approximately 150 filings)
2. Prepare FTC computations (including 861 allocations) and Form 1118
3. Maintain FTC model (excel version of Form 1120)
4. Maintain tax pools, E&P, and tax basis
5. File tax residency certificates
6. Perform 987 Calculations
Other Job Responsibilities
Tax Planning
1. Manage US international tax issues associated with acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings,
and general tax planning
2. Monitor international changes in US tax law as well as Non-US changes in tax law that impact US tax planning
Tax Accounting
1. Support Controller in preparation of tax provision by calculating/maintaining various US
international inputs into the quarterly and year-end tax provision
Audit support
1. Assist in responding to tax examination queries related to international tax computations and
reporting
Qualifications
1. Experience with CORPTAX preferred
2. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
3. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, master’s degree and/or CPA preferred
4. 3 or more years of public accounting and/or relevant industry experience
