Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Informatics Specialist with a nursing degree and clinical experience to join our team. This role combines elements of customer success and data analysis to ensure that healthcare providers effectively utilize informatics solutions. The ideal candidate will enhance user satisfaction, support clinical decision-making, and drive data-driven improvements in patient care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or related field preferred.
Valid nursing license
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Experience in customer success, client relations, or similar role in the healthcare or technology industry preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and EHR systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and driving user satisfaction.
Ability to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, ensuring concepts are easily understood.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and HITECH.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical staff using informatics tools, ensuring they receive exceptional support and guidance.
Meet with clients to understand their unique needs, challenges, and objectives, delivering tailored solutions in a clear and digestible format.
Communicate complex clinical data and informatics concepts in an engaging and understandable manner, facilitating informed decision-making.
Analyze clinical data to derive insights that inform best practices and improve patient outcomes.
Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and deliver training sessions and materials tailored to clinical staff, promoting proficiency in EHR systems and analytics tools.
Monitor user adoption and satisfaction, gathering feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements and drive product improvements.
Create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders, helping to inform strategic decisions.
Advocate for the needs of clinical users within the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that address user feedback.
Stay current with healthcare informatics trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team to foster continuous improvement.
