As the Director of Health & Wellness , you’ll lead the clinical team and play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and wellbeing of our residents. You’ll work closely with other department heads to ensure we’re delivering top-tier care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who calls our community home.
**At Morada Midwest City**
Make sure we’re following all federal, state, and local regulations when it comes to resident care.
Monitor health trends in the community and put action plans in place when needed.
Be a go-to resource and coach for our nurses and care team.
Partner with our pharmacy consultant to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
Help assess new residents and adjust care plans as their needs change.
Keep families in the loop with timely updates and thoughtful communication.
Work with leadership to manage staffing, scheduling, and supply needs.
Take part in on-call rotation and help out with occasional events or outreach.
Collaborate with the Business Office to align care levels with service fees.
Pitch in with other duties that support our team and residents.
You’ll supervise our nurses and care staff, providing support, training, and hands-on leadership to ensure our residents receive consistent, compassionate care.
A current RN or LPN license (RN strongly preferred).
At least 1 year in a nursing leadership role (senior living experience is a big plus).
Current BLS Certification .
Solid computer skills (we use Microsoft Office and electronic health records).
A heart for working with older adults and a passion for leading others.
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and clear—even on busy days.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and support residents as needed.
This role is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
There may be occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals or bodily fluids (standard precautions apply).
You’ll need to be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and helping residents with mobility needs.
