Position: Data Architect (Erwin Data Modeling )

Job Description
We are seeking a Data Architect with strong expertise in Erwin Data Modeling to design, implement, and maintain data models that align with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple database technologies and a deep understanding of data warehousing principles.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain logical and physical data models using Erwin software.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into optimized data models.
Develop and enforce data modeling standards , best practices, and governance.
Work with various DBMS platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and NoSQL databases .
Support data warehouse and ETL design, including star schemas and dimensional modeling .
Write and optimize SQL queries for data design, transformation, and validation.
Contribute to cloud-native data architecture initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Erwin Data Modeling software.
Deep understanding of data modeling concepts , normalization, and schema design.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and/or NoSQL databases .
Working knowledge of data warehousing principles and ETL processes .
Proficiency in SQL for database design and data manipulation.
Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Nice to Have
Familiarity with PCI and industry-standard security patterns (e.g., tokenization, encryption).
Experience managing design priorities across multiple stakeholders .
Prior experience in the credit card or financial services industry .
