What They Do: Our client is an Event Technology company who works with large and small corporate brands ensuring their virtual and on-site events run smoothly using their cutting-edge technology. Features include Event Registration, Check-in, Attendance Tracking, Lead Retrieval, and more! 

THE ROLE

We are seeking a tech-savvy Event Success Specialist to join our client's growing team! This role is integral to ensuring our client's customers have a seamless experience with technology during live events. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating client demos, answering technical questions, and helping customers understand how to use our client's platform effectively. We’re looking for someone with experience in event technology, and the ability to lead training sessions with confidence over Zoom. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to handle challenges with empathy and professionalism. You’ll need to manage your schedule effectively, solve problems quickly, and adapt to an evolving product. Importantly, you'll be a key player in ensuring client success without directly managing renewals (which are handled by the Relationship Manager).

This role is fully remote and we are looking for someone preferably in Mountain or Pacific time zones. After your training period, the hours will be as follows:

7am - 6pm local time 4 days a week, with one weekend day every 6-8 weeks

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Conduct engaging, effective client demos and training sessions via virtual screen sharing, answering both technical and non-technical questions.
  • Continuously learn about our client's product and its evolving features and functionality to stay current with product adoption.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction by delivering exceptional product experience during events.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, being proactive in addressing client concerns and technical issues.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships, providing coaching, training, and support as needed.
  • Train clients on the platform without doing the work for them; emphasize the importance of critical thinking and retention of technical information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Event Success, Sales, and Technology) to ensure client needs are met.
  • Be an organized multitasker, prioritizing client needs and managing your time effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) support or SaaS/event technology experience
  • Experience with virtual training and client demos, using screen sharing platforms like Zoom.
  • Strong technological understanding, with Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge about a constantly evolving product.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a particular focus on listening and training.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed for on-site client support and company trainings.
