Willow Street Pictures is a  boutique fine art portrait studio , offering a deeply personal and artistic experience to our clients. Unlike big-box stores, we specialize in custom-printed, custom framed, large wall-size fine art portraits, ensuring every client receives masterpieces tailored to their homes.

Our clients seek us out because they want to work with highly skilled artists. As part of their creative journey, they come to you, the Custom Picture Framer, for a private one-on-one framing appointment, where your expertise is trusted and valued. This is an intimate, personalized consultation where you have full creative freedom to present artistic framing solutions that elevate their portraits into stunning heirlooms.

We perform all custom framing onsite and have maintained strong relationships with top moulding, mat board, and glass suppliers for over two decades.

Now, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Custom Picture Framer to join our team!

What You’ll Do

Custom Framing & Design

• Consult with clients to determine the perfect frame, matting, and glass options for their portraits.
• Measure and cut mats, glass, and frames to custom specifications.
• Assemble high-quality frames, mount artwork, and ensure precise finishing.
• Offer professional design recommendations on frame styles, colors, and materials.

Studio & Client Experience

• Manage an organized and well-stocked framing workspace.
• Ensure a clean, elegant, and welcoming environment for private framing appointments.
• Work closely with our photography and creative team to provide seamless service.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate  one-on-one with clients in private appointments , ensuring an exceptional experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of custom picture framing experience
• Experience in retail sales or customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills for precise measuring and cutting
• Keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for fine art framing
• Ability to work independently at both studio locations
• Team player who enjoys working with other artists
• Comfortable standing, lifting, and handling framing materials

Harleysville Studio – 474 Main Street, Harleysville, PA

West Lawn Studio – 2212 Penn Avenue, West Lawn, PA

Compensation: Base hourly wage + commission
