Job Description

The Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in driving success of our organization. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Create revenue streams through new client acquisition and strategic business growth.
  • Build sales pipeline by conducting business development activities sufficient to achieve sales goal.
  • Accurately track all activities within EventEQ CRM system, which includes creating accounts, contacts, opportunities, and logging tasks.
  • Research and target potential clients, markets, and industries that align with company offerings.
  • Establish and nurture long-term connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Craft and execute plans to approach new prospects, leveraging data, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and CRM system (Salesforce) to identify and qualify high-potential leads.
  • Understand client needs and aligning solutions to provide value, often through customized pitches, presentations, and proposals.
  • Work with Account Managers and Account Executives throughout the proposal life cycle.
  • Lead contract & agreement discussions to successfully close deals.
  • Monitoring KPIs, pipeline progression, and conversion rates to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Follow developments with respect to the competition and provide feedback to the company.
  • Represent EVENTEQ through membership of local organizations and associations.


Base Salary Range : Starting at $88,060/yr. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
