Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Behavioral Science Research Specialist (Focus Area Research Lab).

What You Will Be Doing:
You will play a key role in applying behavioral science to improve financial decision-making and investor outcomes. This position focuses on experimentation, research design, and the translation of behavioral insights into actionable recommendations for retail investors and financial advisors. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external experts to lead thought leadership initiatives, build the behavioral lab infrastructure, and design research frameworks that drive strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-develop and execute a behavioral science thought leadership strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
Build and manage partnerships with academics, researchers, and industry leaders to co-create studies, publications, and public engagements.
Design, conduct, and communicate results of original behavioral studies and experiments.
Establish frameworks for testing, measurement, and evaluation of behavioral interventions.
Lead relationships with external vendors and ensure research aligns with strategic priorities.
Develop accessible and engaging communications for complex research findings.
Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and media events.
Support the integration of behavioral insights into product design, advisor tools, and communications.
Partner with cross-functional teams in experience design, data science, and client experience to improve decision-making and business outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or a related social science.
Demonstrated expertise in experimental design, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and statistical analysis.
Proven ability to lead behavioral research projects from concept to publication.
Experience managing vendor relationships and partnerships with academic institutions or research organizations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong collaboration and consulting skills to work across multiple business teams.
Familiarity with financial decision-making or investor behavior.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Doctorate (Ph.D.) in a relevant behavioral science discipline.
Experience developing or leading thought leadership programs, research publications, or public behavioral science initiatives.
Exposure to digital product design or UX environments applying behavioral insights.
Knowledge of financial therapy, financial literacy, or investor psychology.
Experience presenting at industry conferences or authoring academic papers.
