Behavior Assistant (BA) – In-Home Youth Services

The Healing Den is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Assistants (BAs) to provide in-home and community-based behavioral support to children and adolescents involved with New Jersey’s Children’s System of Care (CSOC).

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing behavior support plans developed by licensed clinicians
• Supporting youth with emotional regulation, coping skills, routines, and positive behaviors
• Modeling appropriate social and communication skills
• Providing hands-on support in the home and community
• Collaborating with families and clinical team members
• Completing brief session notes and documentation

Qualifications:

• Some college coursework (psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families
• Ability to follow behavior plans and accept clinical guidance
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Evening availability preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
