Rockstar New York is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to assist making motion graphics for various assets. These could include video trailers, commercials, social media, and more. The ideal candidate will be well experienced in After Effects, familiar with working in a production environment, and passionate about motion graphics and Rockstar Games.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO - Motion Graphics team works with Marketing to bring the quality and attention to detail for which Rockstar Games is known into Motion Graphics.
- This includes developing standalone Motion Graphics pieces as well as supporting video production, trailers, and any other Motion Graphics needs across the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Create high-quality Motion Graphics, logo animations, transitions, etc. for use in marketing materials, videos, and trailers.
- Version out final assets for uses in international markets and across various platforms.
- Develop, organize and maintain Motion Graphics projects as part of unified creative vision.
- Maintain highest levels of quality control and attention to detail.
- Work as a team to break down the Motion Graphics needs of any given project and work together to ensure proper execution.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of related experience in motion graphics.
- Experience and familiarity of various motion graphics and postproduction pipelines.
- Experience with versioning out and QC of final assets.
- Experience working in a team environment with other animators as part of a larger production pipeline.
SKILLS - Fluent in After Effects.
- Strong organizational skills and eye for quality control.
- Strong 2D animation skills.
- Ability to work well with various styles and methods of execution.
- Strong creative skills and motion design sensibilities.
PLUSES Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
- Experience in Film/TV Motion Title sequences.
- Design experience.
- 3D experience using C4D.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
