The challenge in this position involves determining whether submissions can be automated into the system by reviewing and validating information with provider intake. Positions in this function are responsible for the installation and administration of assigned contracts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and provider education materials. Positions are also responsible for overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing using various databases. May include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Assist with setting up plan structure and billing, eligibility collection and database loading + Prepare materials such as plan documents and provider education aids + Accurately load contract amendments + Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards + Escalate more complex problems to supervisor level + Recommend methods to improve processes used by department You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience + Must be 18 years of age OR older + 3+ years of work experience in a corporate setting with 2+ years in managed care or medical insurance experience (can include credentialing providers, provider relations, medical billing, provider administration) + 2+ years of experience in a role requiring strong prioritization/organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills including telephone etiquette + Enrollment/Eligibility experience + Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word + Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm **Telecommuting Requirements:** + Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) + Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy + Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Soft Skills:** + Basic, structured, standard approach to work *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
