Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description: - Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. - Sort and distribute incoming mail. - Process P.O. matching invoices, as applicable- they will be processing 150-200 invoices weekly - Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly. - Respond to all vendor inquiries. - most via email but some vendors do call in - Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies - reconciliations - month end - Accrual Accounting - Assist in month end closing- they will be helping with Full Cycle month end close. Month-end close usually takes about 5 days - Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. - Assist with other projects as needed Qualifications - 2 + years of experience in AP - Manual invoice processing experience - SAGE 100 experience, highly preferred - Excel- V Lookups and SUMIFS required. Work Environment The schedule is 8 am to 5 pm, onsite. After training, the schedule includes onsite work from Monday to Thursday and remote work on Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
