What This Internship is About: The Event Production Intern works within the Production department at RedPeg and supports client program production deliverable for live events, experiential activations, festivals, and mobile marketing tours across the country. This is a get your hands dirty, working out in the elements and in the warehouse, loading in assets and setting up the footprint, working at the warehouse, and spending some time researching. This intern will work closely with our internal teams to assist in the purchasing and managing of assets and vendors that are utilized in our experiential marketing campaigns and live events (vehicles, structures, tents, electronic equipment, banners, etc). The ideal candidate has a passion for producing events, event operation, coordinator and logistics, and enjoys trouble shooting. You will gain valuable experience in project, event and festival management.
Some of the work you can expect to be engaged in during the summer includes:
- Research and resource assets for events, activations, and mobile tours.
- Source new vendors.
- Warehouse coordination and inventory.
- Assist with project/event management for multiple large scale events and activations.
- On-Site Load In & Load Out Support for events and activations
- Coordinate build set-up and staging with production teams internally and for clients.
- Support the production team in the execution and coordination of their deliverables
- Coordinate w/ vendors and fabricators to ensure jobs are built with appropriate materials, style and to blueprint specifications.
- Oversee timely shipping of assets and premiums through the existing warehouse work order process
- Maintain inventory & accountability of all decor, equipment, and other supplies.
- Coordinate with nationwide tours that are on the road to determine needs and asset repairs, as necessary.
- Work on tour launches ensuring that correct assets are sent out to each team and coordinating end of tour asset assessments.
- Research and insight reporting in support of active programs and business development
- Outreach to vendors, events, venues, municipalities and other stakeholders in support of active programs and business development
- Potential for travel (as needed)

What You’re All About: - Ideally, working on obtaining a degree in Event Management, Event Production, or within Experiential Marketing
- 0-1+ years of relevant marketing, event, promotions, communications or sponsorship experience
- Overall strong communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Willing to get your hands dirty, enjoying the physical aspects of production at warehouse, office and on the road
- Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Keen attention to detail, accuracy and personal accountability
- Ability to handle a high-volume of work consisting of multiple projects and deadlines at one time (time management)
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in collaboration with others
- General interest in marketing, cultural and social trends
- Strong work ethic and hunger to learn and "roll up your sleeves"
- Willingness to help with tasks
- A pleasant and positive attitude
- General computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite applications
Salary: $15/h Enrolled in an Undergrad program, $16.50/h for completing an Undergrad program, but not starting a Graduate program and $18/h enrolled in or obtained Graduate degree
