Express Employment is seeking an experienced Grinder for a 1st Shift position in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating grinding machines and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding machines according to specifications and work orders
• Monitor grinding processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired surface finishes and dimensions
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using measuring tools
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the grinding process
• Perform regular maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Grinder in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of grinding machine operations and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly
